This extension allows online merchants using Magento to accept Visa and MasterCard credit card payments and process it via PUBLIC BANK’s Payment Gateway. The currency acceptable to the gateway is Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) at the moment.
Customers of the online store will enter the card details on the store before being redirected to secure payment pages hosted by PUBLIC BANK Payment Gateway. The gateway then communicates with MPI, Visa Directory, Credit Card Host and Visa Net respectively depending on the credit card’s status.
Entire message flow is secured by 128-bit SSL security protocol.
Security Requirement
To facilitate end to end secure connection, merchants are required to implement SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate on their web server with minimum 128 bit encryption.
